How Do I Order My Wood Flooring?
- First of all, choose the type of wood you need.
- Next, choose what size plank you need (planks vary in width).
- The next step is to calculate the area of the room where you are laying the flooring. You can type in the length and width in to the Room Area Calculator. This will work out the area (in metres squared) of the room and will also calculate how many boxes of flooring you need to order.
- You can then press the button ‘Add to Basket’.
- This will take you to a new page where it will show you the contents of your shopping basket.
- Then, you can either press the button to Continue Shopping or Proceed to Checkout. If you’ve finished shopping, proceed to checkout.
Once you’ve filled out the information fields with your name, email address, contact phone number and address, your order will be sent to our wood flooring office. One of our experts will contact you straight back (or a time convenient with you) with delivery details, prices and other important details. Then you just wait for your flooring to arrive!
How Long Do I Wait for the Flooring to be Delivered?
Orders before 10.30am can be delivered within 24 hours, but we normally advise a 48 hour wait for flooring. If you’re unable to be present on the day of delivery, let us know when you order, and we can organise a day to suit you. You need to be there on delivery in order to check the goods – unfortunately we cannot be held accountable for any defects found after the delivery driver has left your address.
Confused about the measurements?
In layman’s terms, here you have a choice of lenths – so both choices have a width of one strip of wood, which has a wear layer of 6mm thick, but an overall thickness of 20mm. Both planks have a width of 240mm but one has a length of 1860mm and the other has a length of 2400mm.
